OUR NURSING SERVICES
Based at St John's Health Centre and St Mary's College where you may have an appointment
to see the Nursing staff without seeing a Doctor. Our Nursing services include:

| • Child vaccinations and immunisations |
• Other immunisations |
Travel Clinic:
We are a certified Yellow Fever Centre. We specialise in travel health and provide the latest information,
immunisations and malarial advice. We stock travel packs and travel health goods
eg mosquito nets, that you can purchase, as well as some malarial prophylaxis.
Other malarial products may require a private prescription and non-NHS vaccines
are available as a chargeable item.
Advice And Treatment For Minor Injuries And Ailments:
Sore throats, diarrhoea and vomiting, cuts and sprains, dressings, ear syringing etc.
Family Planning And Contraceptive Advice:
In addition to a routine appointment with a GP or Nurse there is a walk-in
Family Planning Clinic every Tuesday between 4.00 - 7.30pm. Coils and implants are fitted
by appointment with a Doctor.
MATERNITY SERVICES:
The Practice offers both antenatal and postnatal care. A separate maternity
pack giving further details is available.
BABY CLINICS AND DEVELOPMENTAL CHECKS:
Routine Baby Clinics are held by the Health Visitors (Tel 020 8891 8130) for
general advice, including developmental checks. There are walk-in clinics to
see the Health Visitor on the first floor of the health centre.

MINOR SURGERY:
Many minor operations are easily and more conveniently performed
at the surgery by the Doctors. A weekly session is held and appointments are
arranged through your own Doctor.
ANTI-COAGULATION MONITORING:
Weekly clinic by referral from your GP.
BLOOD TESTS:
Please note that all blood tests require a booked appointment from Reception. Clinic times are:
